Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't really understand what that means. Does it mean that Alientrap has to finish work on the version it sends to GOG, or that GOG is still doing some testing/tweaking of its own, or something else? I'd just like to understand the process a bit better so I can be more informed in the future (and possibly be more helpful on the forum myself!).

Not exactly doubled ($6 to $10), but you got the drift.

They have to somehow make up for all those getting the HD upgrade for free.

They are just price-matching with Steam.
