I'm playing a stealth game called The Sting! and I've gotten to a place where I'm trying to rob a movie theater and once I sneak in through the window, when the guard comes back he sees that the window has been opened and I lose.

The problem is that I have no way of closing the window again or making it seem like it hasn't been opened, so I'm not sure what to do!

Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Hmmm...

1) Maybe the window is your exit

2) curtain?

3) move something else in front of the window?

4) Walkthrough?
You will need a lockpick, though you can also bring a crowbar along.
Move downhill and you'll see the other entrance to the cinema around the corner. Use lockpick on the door.

If this was an old school adventure, you'd have to collect stuff for a time machine to achieve that it's winter and then a cat liking winter jumps off and hits the window closing it.

And if it's D&D/Magic you could put the guard to sleep or make him hallucinate... or something..
If this was real life you could just walk in backwards and the guard would think you're leaving.
If this was in 2019 the guard would give you money and thank you that you are visiting the cinema.

Yes, thank you ZFR. I should have thought of that. And frankly, it's not far off, considering that you can rewind and fast forward time while in the planning stage. But just as a test, I think I'll try rtcvb32's suggestion.
I think ''moonwalk'' would work perfectly:)
I'm old.

I honestly thought he was talking about the movie.
Of course you're old; you're the grandfather on The Simpsons. And your reputation is 2000 btw. Actually, I think the game has some loose affiliation with the movie.

It's been a long time since I played, but the solution may simply be that you shouldn't enter through that window.
Yeah, I was eventually able to do it. But now there's another problem: I'm trying to rob the hotel and I need to take an accomplice but my horrible little car can only hold like 70 lbs after I get in it, and nobody's that light! And I can't afford another car, and I looked up a tutorial that says that I should still be able to use the same car and take my accomplice, but HOW?! It simply can't carry us both!

You need ''Baby Face Nelson''.

I looked at the game and thought it totally was then read some official descriptions and found out the title was the only thing taken from the film.

Sounds odd but I know that's been done before.

There are quite a few potential accomplices in the game, perhaps you just need to go for a walk between robberies.
