bjgamer: I am sad to have to tell you all that B passed away last week. (I am J, his wife.) We have donated here a few times and ran giveaways together, but the Talk Like A Pirate Day giveaway was his own based on his quirky sense of humor. I am still grieving the loss of my husband and best friend and am not up to running it this year, so finkleroy has received the few codes we had gotten for it before B became sick. To those who receive these games, please enjoy them.

B gave me rune classic, which i only wanted because of Rune gold.
Played that game through and beating it very fast since i was so into the game.
So rest in peace and my condolences J.

My condolences.

Despite my account age, I'm comparatively new to the forum - I've only had the pleasure of experiencing one of the talk like a pirate events.

I found such events invaluable for fostering involvement and interaction between forum members, so B's contribution will be deeply missed

Sorry to hear that. The B of bjgamer was a really cool guy. I had the pleasure of participating in his Pirate giveaways and always looked forward to them. He will truly be missed.

Something my Dad always told me about passing away that I'd like to share:
"Death isn't the end, it's only the end of Level 1 and the beginning of Level 2."

I'd like to think that his Level 2 is filled with wondrous pirate adventures that we could only dream of. May he rest in peace and continue on to the next life.
