Rule 2 should be pretty clear. The activity requirement is a vague guideline and solely the giveaway admin's decision whether anyone fulfils it or not. A good rule would be to not think about it, ignore that this giveaway thread exists for a while after you decide to start being active on the forum and just be active in positive, helpful ways in general, and after doing that for a while, maybe have a look again and see whether there's anything you'd want to ask for.

It has officially been more than a week since Senteria was nominated for Dex. They did not respond to my message asking if they would like to accept or decline the nomination, so it's officially up for grabs now. I'm not going to grant it to anyone who previously requested it after the nomination because that wouldn't be fair to everyone who chose not to request it because they saw that someone was nominated for it, and therefore knew that their request would be automatically denied. If you'd like this game and haven't received one this month, you can go ahead and request it, even if you previously requested it and had your request denied due to the nomination. First come, first serve.

Not sure if I'm still eligible for Dex but I'd be happy for the game for this month if possible.

just like Cavalary said, Rule #2 is your friend and guiding light. simply participate in forum's life for a while. there're lots of interesting topics here, lots of discussions. we even have forum games. and after some acclimatization come back here.

I can recommend some of the forum games to get yourself hooked on the forums here. Over time you will transition from the games to look at other posts and discussions and might find yourself taking part in those as well. :D

If you are interested in games of social deduction, I recommend to you Forum Mafia. Ignore most everything between the first post and the most recent posts, the rest is largely banter between players, only out-of-game. This thread includes the links to the sign-up threads for various games as well as links to the various games themselves.
Two more fun forum games are Just Three Words (where you go to the last post and write three words which might or might not apply to the previous post) and Word Association Game (where you go to the last post and write a single word which you associate with the previously-used word).

You're welcome. I received Dex as a gift myself back when I was just starting out becoming active here at gog in 2016, and it very positively surprised me. It's far from the most spectacular game you'll have ever played, but it's pretty, it's interesting, it's smooth - very decent storytelling, just enough RPG elements to keep me involved, and overall just a very positive experience. I'm very happy to be able to pay it forward like this.
