Is there any difference between TFTD GOG version and Steam version?

Because I already own Steam version and I wouldn't like to buy the GOG version to find out that works the same way.

You don't need Steam with Gog's version but Steam's might get updated faster..

I'm 99% certain there is no difference, they're most likely both the original running in DOSBox.
And you don't need Steam for the Steam version.
And there will probably never be any updates for it either.
Tauto lately is on a good posts streak (at least with new\noob users).
Sudden change of attitude or just a facade? O_o

Gamewise they are the same, GoG version uses Dosbox 0.74, Steam uses 0.72. With such an old game, Steam Version wouldnt be updated at all, if not the Developer does, which is unlikely.
