Google Chrome have recently started behaving very strangely, and I wonder if anyone know what it is. It takes forever to load, and it does not close correctly.

The attached screenshot is from Task Manager after I have closed Chrome. As is shown, Chrome shows as 17 running processes, and as said, this is after I have closed it. I can kill the process here in the task manager, and when I start Chrome again, it tells me it did not shut down properly last time. So I can not quite Chrome normally, and I get this proliferation of processes... anyone know what is going on here?

By the way, this screenshot is take after killing Chrome completely, starting it with only one tab, and then just closing Chrome again.

Could be a plugin has got stuck, had that with a plugin for Firefox that it kept trying to download or get update. Try disabling them and restarting.

Cheers. Looks like the culprit was an extension. Still slow as heck, but at least it shuts down properly now.
