It isn't. If the winner doesn't give any sort of feedback, only the SG admin can change the feedback manually. The system doesn't do it automatically. I know because I've had a "Awating User Response" for nearly 3 weeks after sending the gift and marking it as sent on SG.

Otherwise it would be too easy for people making fake giveaways to abuse the system.

that's strange cause once i had won a game but had no net connection for two weeks , the game got marked as received as auto , maybe they changed that now

And yes for any problems you can always pm the mods on steam or gog

I hope we are not forced to make rules regarding thanking the gifters after winning a game its most positive thing to do

i only made 1 Darwinia giveaway for this group but Steam somehow made 2 separate giveaways for game without my knowledge...
i know ive been sick with the stomach flu, so im not sure if in my haziness something slipped past me...
but i only have one code & only posted one link for it...
im on a strict budget due to moving next month...
id appreciate any advice from the community...

I'm sorry to read that, I hope you get well really soon. As for the giveaway, were there two Darwinia giveaways made (supposedly) by you? Maybe you were so sick that you didn't notice you already did one, or it was a glitch in the system. Anyway, maybe this can be easily fixed by contacting the SteamGifts admins explaining the situation, but maybe that will leave you with a "gift not delivered" mark, and we don't want that to happen.

We are all friends here and I supposed the giveaway was made between GOG members. I'm sure we can get an agreement. I would give you a Darwinia key if I have one, but I don't... sorry :( , but maybe someone else has it and can give it to you, so you can give that to the winner, OR you can contact the winner explaining the situation, maybe he/she can understand (I would), OR you can offer him/her a different game. The idea of these solutions I thought is for the winner to mark the gift as received. If you need a different game to offer him/her, I have any game from the IndieGala Magicka and I can give you a key (free/no trade needed) to help you with this problem. At least you can offer him/her one of these games: Trine, Cities in Motion, Magicka, Magicka Vietnam DLC, Painkiller: Black Edition, Deponia, Home and Victoria II.

That's all I can do to help you. But I'm sure someone else will also try to help you too.
