What happened to the Rise of Flight giveaway? I missed who won it, whoever got it, congrats and I'm very jealous thats the one I wanted to win the most ;)

I have been suspended because of an incident on the forum where a whole bunch of users got (unrightfully) suspended for about 3 days, and as a bonus therefor i am also suspended from this group for 1 month because of that.
Apperently the giveaway still stays but i can't check till tommorow, if it's the case i will still send the price to the rightful winner. I was planning on doing another one but i am almost forced to just put that one up publically.
I thought i was being very polite and just had an open discussion about it here yesterday but someone just enjoys putting fuel to the fire of alot of crap that i already received because of it by downrepping every single post and even ones that weren't even part of that discussion.

That seems rather silly of steamgifts to suspend your account, but let your giveaways continue.

If someone would have been suspended for scamming then yeah its pretty weird.
But maybe because i didn't they let me to continue the giveaway.

i filed a support ticket and liquidsnake would take their reaction into account, however their first reply i got an answer right away, i was being polite, didn't use bad words anywhere yet they make an implication of me being immature and just suck up the two days and closed it. I reopened the ticket and told them i didn't use a referral link and they were wrong, they haven't responded to that for 48 hours, and i don't think they will anymore.
Last week on this forum i read someone who did a giveaway and he got suspended because the receiver didn't tag it as received. So go figure.

Interesting. I've got a giveaway there that the receiver hasn't marked it as received from a couple of monthes ago. The key was redeemed, they just didn't come back and mark it received.

maybe it was his first and you did several, but i believe after a week you could contact steamgifts, not sure if they would set it to received.

Allow me to publicly ask everyone to read the rules of this group on our SG forum page if they have questions or issues before posting in this thread ( which is primarily for posting GA links - not having discussions). While I understand that occasional discussions will happen, issues should be taken up with the moderators and not here in an attempt to gain support or whatever... This is a notice for everyone as an FYI.

To lugum, the rules state that if you are suspended from SG, for whatever reason, you will be suspended from this group for one month regardless. Period. This is true of any member no matter what. Please stop spamming this thread in an attempt to circumvent the rules of this group.

To everyone else, this is a friendly, generous group. We've enjoyed an extremely pleasant interval without a lot of drama and I, for one, would like to see this streak of pleasantness continue unabated. But please be aware that the rules are here to ensure that everyone enjoys this group. While some rules may "feel" unfair if a member becomes subject to them, they are in place for a very specific reason...
