I assume C. Kane was tested in Windows?

Yep, so was Bubsy.
I just added Hyper Light Drifter. Woo!
Two More: Aragami and Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. Weirdly, Aragami is DRM-free on Windows, but not on Linux, which seems backwards to me.
Does somebody know if the FULL VERSION of Virginia requires steam client to run?

pedrovay2003: Holy crap, awesome finds, guys! I'm going to update the list soon. Also adding Styx: Master of Shadows to the list while I'm at it.

EDIT: Okay, we're all updated again!
I have an eye on Styx for a long time, thanks for the info. I hope it arrives here in GOG
I checked the games on the Steam Wikia list against the game I have in my Steam library and found one game that's on the DRM-free list there, that doesn't function completely well without internet:

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing does run without the Steam client, but it seeks an internet connection so I tested it with my PC (Windows 7) disconnected from internet and when I do so, the game does run, but when closing down the game after playing, it crashes with the error message 'this program met an unexpected error, it needed to be shut down' displayed, which doesn't happen when the game can connect over the internet. Not completely DRM-free? Though that depends on how you define it, I guess. It led me to finishing the game with the GOG version.

Does the game still work before getting that error message, though? As in, can you still play it, advance, save your data, load your data, etc.? Because if so I'd personally still consider it to be DRM-free, since it does work. If the error message doesn't really do anything, then it can be disregarded.

The answer is yes, to all of your questions: playing, saving, loading: everything works, the error comes only at exiting the game. So yes, it can be disregarded (if your not a perfectionist like me, that is ;-) ).
Just got gifted another one.

Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders

Does run without steam - saves are working and achievements are in game too.
Tested on win7/64
Okay, I added Shadow Complex Remastered, which is a part of the Humble Bundle right now.

Well this is a pleasant surprise. Thanks for this heads up!
Lucius Demake works fine without Steam.

Tested on Windows 10.
