Have questions that only the devs can answer? Join the team behind STASIS for a special Q&A session!

Chris and Nic Bischoff from The Brotherhood, the two-person team behind the game, are here to answer all your pressing questions about their title from 6 to 8pm GMT.

Comment in the thread below to ask all about the title, the game-developing duo’s life behind game development, and their inspirations in creating what is thought to be a journey back into Fallout’s vaults, Sanitarium’s halls, and Planescape: Torment’s ambience.

Before you do, we’ve put together some ground rules for this Q&A to work as smoothly as possible:

1. Not all questions might get answered during the Q&A. This means your specific question might go unnoticed or unanswered, but feel free to read along anyway and hang out with us - it’s gonna be fun anyway!
2. Be nice. This means no abuse, harassment, name-calling and the like.
3. Don’t spam or take over the thread to go off-topic. This will help us all keep track of incoming questions and help you get the most out of this event - and keep our guests involved!
4. Try to look through some recent questions before asking a new one. If the Q&A has been going on for a while, it’s likely your question has already been addressed.
5. Try to keep it about Rampart. Just kidding, we’re sure the devs have lots of subjects aside from STASIS that they’d love to have a chat about with you guys!

Let’s get this show on the road!

I'm a bit upset I couldn't be here for this! I'm glad to read through it, though. Thanks very much for the time and passion! Very cool! I think you jumped to the top of the (not that it is a competition) "Most worthwhile developers to support/follow" list for many people. Spending time with the community that loves your game means A LOT, I'm sure you know. I will back any of your future projects, if the funds allow, you folks RULE.
Sorry for being late for the party, but I just wanted to say that you did a terrific job creating this game. To me it feels like most of the modern horror adventures are just some hide-in-the-closet "Slender" games where you are constantly being chased by some scary monster or ego-shooters in disguise, so seeing somebody making efforts to bring back something that reassembles the atmosphere of the classic Sanitarium brought tear of joy into my eyes.

If you do happen to read this post, I would be interested in how you determine the right amount of text notes (PDAs, terminals, ...) in the game? Don't get me wrong - I really enjoyed them, but it is just a different experience than actively playing the game.

Might? Like that's even a question. :D

Is that the kind of game you'd want to make? Obviously avoiding anything in existing IPs, but generally that kind of game?

Damn. I never thought I would want something else than 'Heroes of Fallout and Tactics', but I guess this is it.
Really great thread. I wish you all the success with your game, I will definitely pick it full price later.

Wowsa! GO, Chris and Nic! Make more games! We need more developers with your vision and passions! Well, maybe after a vacation!
Why isn't there any Linux port?
After all this time and an already existing Mac port, it should be possible, shouldn't it?

I will probably buy it, when a Linux version is out.

No resolution or text/font size adjustment makes this unplayable for me unfortumately.

Great atmosphere but the interface is so tooltip/text driven, that, while legible enough, its not big enough to wade through the whole game with font that size.

Q: Will this be addressed in a future patch?

I also find the text to be a bit small and would like the ability to scale it a bit.

However, I'm really enjoying the game! The story is unfolding nicely and the way it plays is very eganging/fun, I'm definitely having an adventure. At first I was a little turned off by the single-button interface, but it suits wonderfully and the simplicity is nice and doesn't actually make the game "too simple" (as I find some PnC adventure games to be.) Great practical-application things to figure out and varying degrees of challenge to figure out how to do what I need to do, just like it would be for John. I've probably spent 3+ hours in it so far, and am looking forward to more+the rest. Savoring it, but not tooooo slowly.

FWIW The font size has now been addressed in a patch.
