SpeedRunning eXpo is a smaller-scale gaming marathon for charity, still seems to be done with a lot of heart, features some neat runs and great runners, and is definitely worth all the Hype! you could throw at it. This might help you with speedrunning event withdrawal while waiting for Summer Games Done Quick in July :)

There is one day of streams left, starting in roughly five hours from now - SRX stream - schedule in your local timezone is here.

All donations they collect go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - www.cff.org.
The final day has kicked off now with a Portal run, looks exciting :) Go watch here.

Still to come: TMNT IV, Contra 3: the Alien Wars, Super Castlevania 4, a Mega Man block and to end the event in grand style: Xenoblade Chronicles.

By the way, for upcoming marathons from the speedrunning community you can always check the schedule in the right margin on /r/speedrun.
Are there any Youtube videos of the stream?

(twitch is not an option due to the lack of HTML5 support and the fact that I refuse to install Flash)

Sorry for the late reply. Their YouTube channel seems to be this one, but they only have runs up for 2014. Not sure if they'll upload to YT this year.

What I can recommend is watching Twitch streams through a videoplayer like by using a software called [url=https://livestreamer.readthedocs.org/en/latest/]Livestreamer. That's how I watch Twitch. Download Livestreamer from this page, the Windows installer (for example) is and setup instructions can be found [url=https://i.imgur.com/eqR8z0M.jpg]here.

Since you expressed a little interest in the subject, I wanted to mention the GamesDoneQuick YouTube channel, where you can pick-and-choose to watch almost all runs that happened during their past marathons. Outstanding stuff.

=.=

SRX '16 managed to raise over $1,500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the end. Well done.

I am already aware of the channel and have watched many videos from it. I think my favorite is the Super Mario Bros. 3 TAS.

Cool! Yeah, the TAS stuff is always super impressive. I found some YT uploads from the SRX Mega Man block just now; saw these live, they are definitely worth watching - AltimaMantoid is a great runner. They are here: Mega Man 2, Mega Man and Mega Man 4.
