I had to once again ask for GOG support today, of which I've received none so far.

Here's the situation:

For the past (almost) 2 months GOG had the files needed to update Kingdom Rush and Kingdom Rush Frontiers which are currently both outdated and unplayable. I know this for a fact because it was confirmed that they have the files through my ticket. This is regarding both galaxy and manual installers.

So here's the deal:

1. GOG won't give me a refund for these games, because I've bought them years ago, even though they don't work as they should.

2. GOG won't update these games by themselves, even though they have all the files, because they don't care.

3. There are these endpoints, through which developers can push these updates by themselves, but it either doesn't work, or developers don't have access to these endpoints.

So what are my options here?

1) Push Galaxy
2) Corona homeoffice with kids all the bells and whistles.

You can choose two, and you have to choose at least two.

1. Either keep begging GOG to help you in hopes that eventually they will. Or
2. Give up the cause.

Those are your only viable options as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what you mean by "endpoints" in the OP, but I'm pretty sure devs cannot update their GOG games themselves, but rather, have to wait for GOG staff to do it on their behalf.

At least, there's been many different posts to that effect over the years. Although I'm not sure of the technical details of how that works.

Then there is "perception": Also this game never received an update, the developer answered to my request "we are not on GOG anymore". Great. So we are stuck with a version with a game breaking bug.
