Curiously they use video games to train pilots, or they used to anyways. Not only full cockpit and everything that works and acts like the real thing, but they also throw out emergency situations like an engine blowing or crashing into the ocean with the entire room shaking. Those getting trained (Military or otherwise) have said it was so realistic they couldn't tell the difference from the real thing.

But generally gaming to train you should be where it's far cheaper to train them that way, usually involving costs of equipment, like loading/unloading cargo using huge cranes airplanes or other.

I'd say most of the time most gaming won't help with training to a sufficient degree.

What are the questions it's asking?
Games would make better training if they were better games for it.Some companies were using VR for helping to train for work or therapy.
I'm surprised there isn't proper vehicle simulations for driving a regular car and cheaper accessories such as gearstick kits made the same way beat em up arcade joysticks were sold. There was eurotruck simulator for bigger vehicles.
