Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition, the most modern roguelike ASCII dungeon crawler in town, is available now for Windows, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 25% launch discount!

Don't be fooled by appearances, this is no DOS-era oldie. Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition is everything that you'd normally expect from a modern roguelike - randomizable challenges, streamlined turn-based combat, and a healthy dose of not taking itself too seriously. The game has won numerous awards and praise for the extremely well designed roguelike RPG elements. The twist here are the graphics - fully designed and realised with ASCII art for that little bit of retro charm, and a one-of-a-kind experience.

Use your imagination in Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition, available now DRM-free on GOG.com! The 25% launch discount will last for one week, until Friday, February 20 at 5:59 PM GMT.

I can't wait either :)
Hmm, I didn't expect the ASCII graphics to be used in that manner. I expected something like NetHack, but this looks much closer to the MUDs of old. As such, I think ANSI graphics would have been more appropriate.
I've been playing this some - I got it on Desura in a bundle, and the devs gave me a Steam key - and it is really interesting and also very fun. It does admittedly take a minute to wrap your head around the ASCII art and the novel approach to game design; I found it all extremely unexpected, and I was quite lost at first. Once you start to understand what's what, though, it all drops into place, and I think there's a really solid game in there. Glad it's here on GOG where it belongs!
Go easy people. I heard the new LSL is going to be ASCII.
I want to report a bug on the game page, i'm checking the screenshots and it appears that the graphics of that game are missing, thats a bug, right guys? Guys?
