A fastpaced, military tug-of-war game with minimal micromanagement now out on GOG – we’re talking, of course, about Operation: Polygon Storm, launching with a -20% discount until August 26th, 10 AM UTC!

Choose and deploy from a mix of specialized military units to overwhelm the enemy. Experiment with a huge variety of unit compositions, synergies, abilities, and upgrades to lead your army to victory.

That’s not all, though – you can now also get the Deliberate Force Pack DLC.

Check them out!
Hmmm.... This doesn't look half bad. Games with ragdoll physics are always fun. And the price seems reasonable. Might get this later.

Hmm, looks like warpips except less vibrant/saturated (though the explosions were very satisfying that way) and with more control over what's this you're going to field (which is my main gripe against warpips, tbh).

Definitely going to pick that up, seems like a good little game to pass time with.

Sad "no C&C games on GOG" noises :(

Isn't there another new RTS for which Frank Klepacki is composing the music? I thought I had seen a promo video with him in recent times.

Indeed. Tempest Rising, which is paying respect to the C&C games. Still hoping for a GOG announcement.

Pretty parched for an RTS that actually cares about single player again.

Love Warpips. Will be picking this up today.
From the description:
No base building or resource harvesting required.
One of the GOG tags: "base building". (Also "resource management", but that, at least, can be understood in different ways.)
-_-

On an unrelated note, I'm not sure how I feel about this game. I have it on good authority it was created by a real toxic studio.
Thanks!

That review addresses a lot of questions I had with the game.

You bastard! You made me look! :D
Looks like an unfinished project. The models need some serious work and so do the textures.

Now that one looks amazing and more like a finished product.

Yeah, thats what I meant. And the game looks also more interesting.
