I hope the update means we will get melee weapons and mechs in the future.

I'm sure it is janky, but it is nice to get melee in a first person BattleTech game for the first time.

I have been waiting for the earlier Mechwarrior and Mechcommander games to show up on GOG since I registered. What is taking so long? Last time I looked 58000+ people want to purchase Mechwarrior 4 here. Is that not enough?

I'd like to see the olders games here as well. But I don't know if we'll ever see them here on GOG, or maybe even see them for sale again. The intellectual property rights for the Mechwarrior IP is kind of a hot mess. And last time I heard Microsoft owns the rights to sell most of the games and they just don't seem willing to release the older games on modern digital distribution platforms.

Pulsar222: I'm on Windows 10. The game boots but there's no DLC in sight. What is going on? I installed the patch. Now I'm up to version 1.1.300. Then I bought and installed Kestral and I installed it but I don't have access to it in game. Can anyone help?
The latest version is 1.2.304

Speaking of which, hey GOG, could you please put a patch file out for the offline installers? I really don't want to have to download all 25Gb at this time and do a complete re-install. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Galaxy users are not having to do a complete re-install.
