CharlesGrey: Hah, I had that game for the Sega Saturn, back in the day. Not sure if I ever completed a playthrough, I just remember it was pretty weird.
They wouldn't be former inhabitants if they were still around, eh?
Oh, that was kinda different than the Sega CD version. I understand that version was even more trippy.

Crosmando: So, it's a walking sim or an adventure game?
It appears to be a Myst-em-up.

Breja: Maybe I'm off the mark on this one. It's just that something along the lines of "atmospheric, story-driven mystery game" in the description of a FPP adventure game usually means "walking simulator".
I share your dislike of walking simulators, but this one does appear to be a genuine puzzle-adventure game judging by the screenshots and description. Not a bad price either; I've wishlisted it and will probably buy at some point.

Breja: I wonder if one day some ambitious modder will combine all those walking simulators into one impossibly long, ass-numbingly boring game that will elevate tedium to a whole new level.
Your talking about fallout 4, yeah!

toxicTom: Take a look at the screenshots... Mysty puzzles clearly visible.

Strangely enough a lot of people also think The Guest a walking sim, although it's clearly a FPP point'n'click adventure (and pretty good too).
Welp, seeing as I love walking sims and FPPuzzlers (Yeah The Guest is great BTW) this is insta-wishlisted as I already blew my wad err, wallet earlier!
Looks very interesting! However, my last experience with a similar first-person adventure game (Ether One) was rather unpleasant, causing me severe dizziness & headaches after a few minutes of playing each time, so I uninstalled it early on. I know many others aren't as sensitive to first-person movement/view but still it's a problem for me :) Does anyone know if a playable demo is available? I could not find one on the developer's website.
looks nice, i like these kind of games but just watching the trailer and herky jerky 1st person point of veiw made me nauseous, anyone know if you can tweak the interface?

AlienMind: "told by its former inhabitants"

and no human in sight in the screenshots.
lol fail

Phin77: Because everyone knows it's impossible for former inhabitants to use paper to write notes and/or recording devices to tell stories...
So you don't see the person telling you the story and you go around at the places in which they once were, but in these places also no human is in sight? Gotcha. Still a bunch of hokum in my book.

Mouse and jerky movement not a joy to play which is a shame as is has a good feel, storyline of the 12% I could make myself play til the mouse decided it needed to split become 2, then not function on mini games......end of play sigh
