Loger13: I expected more comments and more purchases. Especially for game with "All Reviews: Very Positive" ratings in Steam.
@G-Doc :
I have a question (rather a request) for a G-Doc (or someone else from the developers, if they are here): can you add a lightsaber to the game (not exactly it, of course (legal problems), but some type of energy/light/laser/fire/pure magic sword. Some type of... like Dragon's Tooth nanosword from Deus Ex, for example)? Well, to have a supercutter with a non-physical blade. Or, may be, emits flying wave of energy in the direction of crosshair with every weapon swing.
It is possible to make it available to those who completed the game (maybe even at the most difficult level). That is, the superweapon is purely for the fan, for those who have already mastered the main content.
Ok here's why I didn't hit the buy button in the end.
When it came on gog I took notice, looked at the marketing and promo video and had mixed feelings- the game looked really cool- setting- lots of action combat- really disliked the 'af' marketing buzzwords. looked at some user reviews- looked at the stream with the old guy in it. I loved Dark messiah but the annoying redo what you have done before save system and the lack of different environments combined with the marketing of souls like make everything ultra hard just put me off. I'm not interested in grinding smash mobs for ages just to fall before reaching a save point, we have plenty of diabilo style games already.
Price was reasonable, loved the undead Egyptian theme, but in the end I just never really got over the marketing or the 'souls' like game play to buy it and give it a proper go aka seemed too repetitive/ hack hack, try again 50 times hack hack again.
