We're monitoring the effects of the current update to make sure no one is using this policy to hurt the developers that put their time and heart into making great games. We may refuse refunds in such individual cases. We'd also let you know about any future adjustments in the voluntary Refund Policy in advance.

7. How often can I refund my games? Is there some sort of limit?
We trust that you're making informed purchasing decisions and will use this updated voluntary Refund Policy only if something doesn't work as you expected.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds, or only offer Wallet Funds conversions, in individual cases.
Please respect all the time and hard work put into making the games you play and remember that refunds are not reviews. If you finished the game and didn't like it, please consider sharing your opinion instead.
Also, please don't take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. Don't be that person. No one likes that person.

Cavalary: So you're complaining that DRM-free is, er, DRM-free?
You no longer have access to the game in your account, so you won't have access to updates and won't be able to download the installer again if you lose your backup copy, or didn't keep one around in the first place, and want to reinstall. The rest is based on trust.
Says a lot about the state of things and how much the proponents of DRM brainwashed gamers (and not only) that something like this can be brought up, that someone can't grasp the concept of no DRM, to the point of considering it a bug. (And let's not even talk about assuming that the client is needed.) Terrifying, honestly.
u got it wrong bro i just havent heard about it in anywhere and my concern was it was a glitch tat is soon to become a blow out exploit. i only inquired about it to know whether or not its being monitored ... but before , this wasnt the case. refunded games were wiped form hdd or or rather i knew it was gone cus i could not see the installation file
something changed and this was concerning to me since all my bug reports , contacting service has led to no one reaching out that they know and monitoring the situation
shoxs84: however the critical glitch of refunding a game and yet retaining full access to game files which are playable as normal should have been fixed by now.
pds41: That's how DRM free works. It relies on the users being honest and not performing software piracy/fraud.
You're supposed to uninstall the game when you refund it.
maybe i didnt notice it but in old gog i never had to do tat it was gone.... i would know i have 130+ games (excluding free ones)
