Hi everyone, I've never posted on this site before. I have only purchased a few games from GOG, but I just read/learned about GOG galaxy. I absolutely despise DRM (specifically internet connection required) client games. I own a few of them (such as Portal 1 an 2), and although the games are good, the whole DRM experience ruins it for me, such that I only play them occasionally.
I just wanted to say that I don't know how the development of GOG galaxy is going, or whether or not it will be successful or a total failure. I don't know if it will be generally hated or loved when it is released. But the fact that it is a DRM free client produced by a reliable and fairly decent sized digital game retailer makes me want to download it just to support it, even though I will probably never use it.
Way to go against the grain, guys. From now on, I am purchasing all games that I want through GOG, if available.
