Here's mine. The reason why I only have one game with at the moment is because I really like to keep my desktop clean, and so I quickly uninstall the games that I think I won't be playing for quite a while, and install or reinstall the ones that I wish to play or get back to playing again.

And fyi, the portrait on the wallpaper is a character from an anime called Takt Op. Destiny. Her name is Cosette or Destiny.

BTW, do you always use the taskbar on the right side? For me it's so anoying wanting to close a window and have to aim the mouse.

Eh. It's just quick flick to the right. *shrug* I guess I could have it on the left side instead, but I've been using the taskbar that way for a decade or so I'm just used to it now.

Seems like I'm the only one keeping this thread alive. Well, it's been over a year now, sooo.... ;)

Took this snap of my simulated x-wing trench run in Everspace 2 when I played the game in April. I must like it well enough, seeing as I haven't had the urge to replace with another since. (famous last words) I also ended up switching the taskbar to the left side sometime last year(?). Turns out it actually does feel better having it there. Doh!

The good thing about posting these desktop updates is that it makes me do some digital house-cleaning, clearing up clutter. In addition I went through my SSDs to be rid of all sorts of junk files and did some general reorganizing.

I would, but my desktop image is slightly too large for GOG's very limited file size, so here's the actual wallpaper. For what it's worth, I'm using KDE Plasma today on the Wayland Display server. I have over 300 wallpapers; so they're rotated once every 10 minutes.

As for icons or anything like that? Who needs em'?

Finally found a replacement for that Everspace 2 wallpaper I've been using for well over a year, which was quite unusually long for me. More frequent changes might be in store now that I've been enjoying the fruits of my "AI" art labor that I've been doing for funsies.

Once again, making this post encouraged me to do some desktop housekeeping. Always good to reorganize from time to time.
