Hi.

For an unknown reason security code is required when I login to my original account, but no security code is being sent to my email, even I try to resend that code using the button below the box. No GOG email is arriving on the junk box as well.

This is occurring since more than a week go, and I am so tired for this issue!!. I've tried to send some message on the GOG's contact us, and nobody is answer me.

Finally I've created a new account, hopping to find a real fix on this. If somebody knows what is happening with this messy GOG's two-step authentication procedure, please help me.

I need to login to my account a games once again.

Thanks.

Hi Bela!.

Yes, there's nothing on my spam folder. I am using Thunderbird client, and I have no issues receiving GOG's promotional issues, including this one confirming this new GOG's account.

This really weird!. I am so frustrated on this thing. I need to restore my original account in order to get access to all my purchased games once again, and I can't. :(

If you try to reset your password do you get password reset email?
Anyway you should contact with the support here:

Thanks but believe me, I've also reset my passwd and can't get any email from GOG on this as well. I've asked them for support and nobody has answered for assistance.

That's why I decided to create another account (this one) in order to get some help logged in to GOG.

I don't know what else I can do to get my original account fixed, or receive a darn security code email...

They are not working on the weekend, so you need to wait some days.

Are the emails getting held up somewhere?
I presume if you use Thunderbird it's not just a Gmail account or similar.. is there anyway to log in to emails elsewhere or see a log of emails blocked / received etc.?
I've had issues with my domain emails from time to time being delayed from getting to my email client, or just being delayed from being received at all because they are 'greylisted' and so arrive 30 minutes later than they should...

Of course if you're receiving other Gog emails fine you'd think their wouldn't be an issue, but presumably the security based emails come from a different address / domain then the promo ones so it might be...

Ah, but the promo stuff comes from newsletter@gog.com and there's also a do_not_reply@gog.com for orders, so it's entirely possible that those two are fine but for some reason the no-reply one is being stopped somewhere.
Gmail isn't detecting any kind of weird redirection (which it often flags for me as possible spam) so it shouldn't be that...

First I thought he got the password reset emails (I can't read), but he said this: I've also reset my passwd and can't get any email from GOG on this as well
So it is possible he is not a gmail user or thunderbird stops those emails from no-reply@gog.com.

Depending on where he gets his emails from they may stop all kinds of weird stuff... mine greylist and delay loads of stuff (even emails that I receive stuff from frequently) and there's no setting to change it in my hosting...

Other stuff doesn't get retrieved at all (but that's usually proper spam with dodgy attachments) so it's entirely possible the emails are being held up somewhere.
Gog obviously has the right address so the emails must be going somewhere...
