I cannot log into gog, I’ve tried everything that I’ve found that could help me, tried repairing files( not available),
Uninstalling and reinstalling ( doesn’t help ), checking security settings.
Main issue is that after I use my email and password to login, my user name comes up and asks for my password, I type it in and it sends me a code in my email, I enter it and then it loads back to my username and password login, type my password and again it just keeps bringing me back to the login page.

Is there a missing file or an update I’m not installing.

Also when I first got into gog before all this happened it said I was offline to connect now if this helps. Idk

Are you trying to log in using the Galaxy client?
If so, try to access your account just by using your web browser.

All I can think is you might try purging the Galaxy cache... maybe? I'm not really knowledgeable about login problems. And it's been too long since I purged the webcache myself, so I can't remember exactly where it is or which files are safe for deletion.

Anyone know how and want to guide this guy through it?

EDIT: In the meantime, mate: if achievements and stuff aren't your concern and you just want to play your games, find where you have them installed and run the executables directly from there. You shouldn't need Galaxy for most single player games, and most of the time the games will run without Galaxy.

It probably won't help but make sure you try running Galaxy as an administrator and add all of the executables in your Galaxy installation folder to your security software whitelists. Also, make sure that Galaxy and its related executables are allowed in your firewall settings.

Hey thank you for the input I’m gonna look into the cache thing and see if that works. I hope it does. And I’d like to play them without using gog but for some reason not one of them will work without gog popping up even when using the games exe. And I need to download cyberpunk but I need the launcher to do so I’m not sure how to do that exactly I’ve added GOG to the white list but idk if or what else I should add to it.

First off, GOG is not Galaxy, GoG is a store, galaxy is a launcher.
Second every game on gog, apart from Gwent and some online gated components work without Galaxy. You can download offline installers from the web page under your username, games, and expand the offline installers tab. These files can be saved, backed up, or installed on any machine. Galaxy is still popping up for you as you have it installed. If you uninstall it it completely, then it will not pop up.
Third, again, you do not, repeat not, need Galaxy for downloading anything. You can download offline installers direct from the website. This is not steam no matter how hard they press to imitate it!

Hey man much appreciate the aggressive but very helpful information I really do appreciate it. I’m going to do that in a moment and see if my games launch thank you. Also I’ve only been pc gaming about 3 months so I’m still kinda new to all this stuff.

Galaxy 2.0 was rolled out in June 2019. In case you missed it, it's still 2.0, which I think says almost everything that needs to be said about it.

If you're running Windows 10 and use Windows Defender, also make sure you check the Exploit Protection settings in App & browser control. Enter the settings menu for Exploit Protection. Under the tab labeled "Program settings", select the option "Add program to customize" and go through each setting. Make sure "Override system settings" is enabled for each, and that every slider is set to "Off". Restart your PC after doing so and give it a try; if it doesn't work, you probably should go back to this menu and delete ONLY the Galaxy entry you created.

As for running as an administrator, right-click the shortcut for the game and navigate to the Properties menu. In there, there should be a tab titled Compatibility. Look for the option that says "Run this program as an administrator". Check the checkbox and try to run Galaxy again.

If none of the suggestions that we give are working for you, it might not be a bad idea to check the GOG support site and if none of the articles there are any help, consider sending them a ticket.

If you can log in via a browsers, you can still download your entire library. You go into the games section of your account and click the game you want. The it shows you a list of which os and usually the latest version is on top. Once you you have it downloaded, you can even save the games to a backup drive in case you need it later or for a new computer.

It’s not meant to be aggressive, simply to the point. If you want the full background have a look at some of the threads here. GOG used to be for the gamer, now it’s simply a method for CDPR to push their client and online only just the same as steam and epic, hence why those who wanted a different store are so against galaxy. If you need any further guidance just shout, but in basic:
Go to website and log in.
Hover over username and select games.
Find game and click on.
Scroll down and find offline installers.
There will be one exe and perhaps x bin files on the left. You need all the main ones fully downloaded to one directory.
Patch files are only if you downloaded previously.
If the are dlc these will be further down.
With the exe and bin in one folder, double click the exe and proceed with install.
You can keep these files for the future.
Run game from desktop icon.
Note that multiplayer (sometimes) only works through galaxy, and achievements are generally not available without galaxy.
