Does anybody knows how could i play witcher 3 with my ps5 controller cause it doesn' t work.

Any ideas?

I suppose you're playing on either Windows 10 or Win11?

If you are, please see if the commands are recognized by Windows through the control panel, and if other programs recognize it (make sure you don't have Steam open, as it may mess your tests).

Depending on what you find, you could try using a keyboard/mouse emulator such as JoyToKey, or Xbox 360 controller emulators such as x360ce.

If you're on Linux, I read somewhere that it should recognize automatically.

X360CE is a great program that will register the controller as a Xbox 360 controller in Windows, if it is properly setup. I've found it extremely useful in many games (particularly ones without other external wrappers) to use unregistered controllers as xinput devices.

Steam has native tools for making controllers work without much setting up. That's one of the main reasons I say to have it completely shut down when troubleshooting a controller.

tested yesterday, gog version of witcher 3 complete edition has native support for ps5 controller.
I turned off steam, disabled usage of ps5 controller mic and
speaker in win 11 and it runs well .
