Racking up my Microsoft Rewards, Bing's daily poll asked me to pick between Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet. Not being an art student, I was tempted to pick ol' Vinny, but then I figured browsing through their collections was just a few clicks away. I found Monet's paintings to be more pleasing to the eye so I picked him. Van Gogh won the poll by 2/3rds. This got me thinking, did the people voting actually prefer Van Gogh or did they remember his name in school and pick him because they heard of him and not Monet? Hell, I was nearly guilty of that, and I've been guilty of that in the past. I'm not familiar with sports, so if I had to pick a name, it's a coin flip. I've no difference in opinion between Spud Quarterback or Willem McBaighllmann beyond "none". One poll asked between some shrubbery, so I just picked the one that was okay looking.

Discuss this intellectually stimulating topic. I'm sure this has happened to everyone at some point.

Are you trolling? Who has not heard of Monet?

Although I am not an art fan, so I don't really have a preference.
