Having downloaded all available files for an offline install, I have successfully installed a game but I have yet to launch it. 4 patches were also downloaded. Do I need to install these manually or will they have been automatically included when the main installer did its thing?

If you don't use Galaxy, you'd have to install them manually.

You need to check the patch version numbers.

For example, if the game installer is version 3.82:
- If the patch is 3.81 to 3.82, you don't need it
- If the patch is 3.82 to 3.83, you do need it

Generally speaking, in 99% of the cases you will not need the patches, but there's always that 1%...

Nothing wrong with trying to help people.... but... do you think that if someone didn't know that 83 is greater than 82 (and 81 isn't), they'd be old enough to post here, write words, sentences, ... ;-)

Thanks to both of you. You are correct mrkgnao, the installer is 44600 and the latest patch has the same number.

To be fair, I wouldn't assume that based on some of the threads/posts on this forum.
