Was surprised there does not seem to be a game forum for the Atari 50th collection as I have questions relevant to that release.

1. I can't find any way to rebind keys. Key rebinding is one of the first things you need for accessibility.

2. I can't find how to switch from modern to original mode in Yars Revenge Reimagined. I pressed every key on the keyboard and the instructions for the reimagined one is just showing the original which does not mention which key.

If anyone can help with Yars, please chime in, and if you know how to rebind keys please let me know. despierately needed for avvessibility. I can't believe Digital Eclipse can make something so amazing and leave out something so basic for accessibility.

Thanks everyone.

[EDIT: The only thread I found here on GoG is the released thread but no game forum for it]

Try here. Some games (those marked "reimagined") don't have the option to remap keys.

EDIT: Damn, something wrong with recognising the URL. Just go to www.pcgamingwiki.com and search for Atari 50

I don't have this, so I can't check for rebinding.
But some older games have very weird keys assigned to them.
I know it's not rebinding, but have you tried the following (again, I don't have this so I can't check)?.

For movement - try W, S, A, D.
For actions (talk, pick up, jump, etc), - try Left Control, Shift, or Caps Lock.

Sorry I can't offer anything more helpful.

Thank you but that was the first place I went to before posting here. It didn't really help me at all I fear.

Yes those keys are all working, but that is not the issue here. The issue is I need to rebind them and there does not seem to be a way, and with Yars Revenge reimagined there is no indication at all anywhere I can find on how to swap it from modern to new, sadly as I wrote above, I tried every key on the keyboard to no avail

Rebinding is the first step every dev needs to put in..... I can't believe Digital Eclipse appears to have left this out

and more puzzling is why GoG does not have a forum for Atari 50th......

It's not the only title which doesn't have a sub-forum, sadly. You may of course submit a ticket and request they put one up, and eventually you might get them to do it, too. But I'm not certain it would have much activity tbh.

Key rebinding should in theory be a basic feature in games, but you'd be surprised how many games don't have this option, especially very simple games like old arcade titles, or little indie games :(

It sucks. Maybe you might have luck using a controller and set the key bindings in software outside the game itself? I dunno, I'm not a fan of controllers so I might be talking nonsense there.

I agree, keybinding is a basic thing that should be there. But I was just trying to suggest something so you could at least play the game.
I did some more digging and checked the steam thread for this title. Lots of people have the same issues I have, no rebinding, some games are not actually playable without a controller sigh, and as for my question on Yars Revenge, you apparently need a controller to be able to switch between modes.

Really REALLY poor form of digital eclipse, not only on key rebind but things you can't even access to play the game.

Not good. Not good at all which is SUCH a pity as the title is excellent. I have a PS3 controller but on the steam forum people have issues with those so really I would need to go buy an x box ontroller just to play some of the games because they did not set all the keys on the keyboard properly. (facepalm)
Looks like I have to get an X Box controller so I can play Yars revenge with the option to swap between the new look and the original. They do not provide a key to do this so although they selected some keys to play with on the keyboard, they did not put all of the options there............ really really sloppy work.

The tank game you can't add any human players unless you have a controller, your keyboard keys will not help at all...... so again you need an x box controller.

If you have a PS3 controller, you're out of luck as well according to people on the steam forum, I tried mine and still had issues.........

Disappointing of Digital Eclipse missing such BASIC features when they went into so much detail for other things in there. :'(
