One_of_Many: I don't know if someone is interested, but eventually I'd like to get rid of this code: X8VN-3FTY-PA32-ZYUU. XD
Thanks!

apehater: you should compare the code in your gift shelf with the gift certificate in your e-mail, they are sometimes different after the recent gog update
You are correct, thanks!

Sachys: I guess nobody took ANY notice of why the original Ninja Thread closed, or why the TBBBBOB was setup.

Rule changes forthcoming!

Dischord: Hi, nice to see you, but why mess with dropped codes?

It hurts no-one, and if a bot gets it, the dropper can just hide it better.
I think our days are fading away my friend. Bots have become so prevalent and forum members more keen to acquire codes that we need a more sophisticated way to fairly transfer codes to other members. I don't like this anymore than you, but it's become the case that dropping codes is simply feeding bots (even if they hide it better).

It's just nice to be able to pop one in there, every once in awhile, but then again I have always been sort of a romantic and felt somehow saddened when the original thread changed.

I've never been convinced that we have much of a bot problem. But we did develop an unsavory characters problem. And that problem is certainly alleviated by changing practices.

I know what you mean, I liked being able to sporadically give away a code (or ten when it came to Sacrifice), and see the recipients be members that would play the games. I think we are similar in our romantic taste. Well, let's not debate more. I'd like to raise a glass to you now (I admit it's a little early for drinking, but I am) for your gifting, and to better days (<raises glass>).

This has always seemed to be a pretty good community, where the pressure of the general community at large seemed to keep the unsavory types in check.

You guys have been around much longer than I, and more often, so I guess there must be something to it. It is kind of sad, though.

Glass raised in your honor, sir!

And what is to be of us anachronisms? I guess we'll just have to pop them in, here or there, without a particular place to call home :-)

That's no problem, as I just opened another and you are more than welcome to have a glass!

Sure... you're an adult and have always handled your drinks wisely (better than me, now that I think of it!)
