Zoltan999: I don't use Galaxy, but since GOG made two-step authentication mandatory, perhaps the first time you go to use Galaxy, or log on to it, you need the 4-digit code they send to you, in the same manner as to log on to your account when trying to access it from a new computer, or if you log out each time? Perhaps that's his problem, and he's just not getting the email, for whatever reason

Prolence: To me GOG asked for the 4 digit code for both the website and Galaxy, when I logged in the first time. Funny enough that they kept asking me the 4 digit code every single time I logged in, but after the announcement of making two step authentication active for all, I haven't needed it once.

HypersomniacLive: GOG asks for the 4-digit code in order to turn it off, so they're equally stuck if they can't/don't receive those emails for some reason.
Well, the way everything else around here is so SNAFU, it's not surprising this isn't working properly for folks either :/

fluffy762: I downloaded the client and created an account over an hour ago.
online this is a lifetime, why so slow ??
I checked the "spam files"
You could always... not use Galaxy?

Seriously, don't bother with the client, just buy and download through the website. Much more efficient.

Heh, totally agree.

My preferred method is still the GoG Downloader.

Makes sense. So it'll be contacting support then. All in all another reason for me to use neither Galaxy nor two-step authentication. It's not worth the trouble for a gaming account. Especially when you regularly change a bullet proof password.

I had the same problem at one point. I didn't get any GoG E-mails despite the fact they supposedly expire in 15 minutes. And hours later, all of a sudden I got a bunch of them. It could be my web service but with the numerous past reports of people getting sale E-mails days after they end, makes me worry that it is the GoG E-mail servers that often have issues.

Good to hear you got it sorted...just out of curiosity, was it something on GOG's side, or your end?
