Happy Prime Power Day! ;-) Makes perfectly sense in my opinion. Please count me in, but rather than calculating I'd like to recommend some music. I'm into Nordic folk, movies and viking games lately. Check this chilled out instrumental song, you might like it:

Also the Banner Saga OST has got some nice tracks:

Thanks for the giveaway. +1
I'll bump this. Can't believe a giveaway offering a choice of a game is only 1 page after 3 days.
I assumed that a square number (which is not the same as a power of two) would be my closest prime day and it's not.

My closes prime day is 11^4, almost a year in the future.
I'm in.
Thanks for all the suggestions, and the good wishes for my exams as well! I wish I could hack my brain into understanding "Study, don't hang around here". Oh well :D.

RWarehall: I'm in. Following your rules (ignoring powers of 1), my last prime power day was 7 days ago and my next will be in 4 years and 3 months or so, both powers of 2.
But...successive prime power days that are powers of two, with the next one being in 4 years would mean you are...4? :O
That can't be possible!
Or did you mean they are both squares?

And yes, I'm surprised at the limited entries. Perhaps the calculating of prime powers is a little too complex. I don't remember what I used...it was either matlab code or an excel sheet.

Misspoke, squares of course.

To be fair, I think someone started this wrong terminology speaking of "powers of 1" earlier...
;-)
I'm in, thanks for the nice give away! =D

Hum... I thought a lot about what music to recommend and decided to tell you to listen an amazing Traditional Rock/Folk mix that I still cannot believe that is not known by every body called Mago de Oz, the most amazing thing is that they really mix the both music styles, not simply alternate them, like other rock bands...

Also, if you would go to some "root" (not contry) folk music, I would recommend you go browse a little the Cantaria web site. It may take you a while until find the style you like, but when you find you will understand a bit of the magic that people singing solely to amuse themselves have.
Not in, but +1 for your generosity! :-)
Hahah...yeah, I suppose I am somewhat at fault for the confusing terminology.

ANYHOW, I'll wait till the end of today (about 6 hours for me) and then decide on a winner. So come on, everyone!
I'm in.

Today, I am 41 x 13 x 11 x 3 days old. Fun fact: I celebrated my 1.5 billionth second of life on June 4th, 2014.
Happy Prime Power Day. Can't think of a better reason to celebrate. (Not in.)
Thank you all again for your wishes! My Prime Power day passed uneventfully, I did ok in 1 exam and not so good in another (but nobody else did either, so it might turn out okay).
Thank you for all your suggestions as well (for music and interesting delineations of time), some cool ones, even from those who didn't enter.

As for the giveaway itself, I'll consider it closed now. Random.org picks RWarehall as the winner, so congratulations RWarehall! A PM is headed your way.
Congrats RWarehall, and thanks again for the giveaway babark.

EDIT: I'm always curious what game the winner picks, so if it's not a secret let us know...
