Fairfox: could a game liek m.c. kids (in other words uuuh unhealthy fast-food promos etcetc) be made today or would it an' teh message(s)/products it conveys naht be so tolerated? i guess they would be resigned to liek android rather than complex 3d games on modern gamin' systems, rite? mebbe there already out thar...

o an' is ronald mcdonald teh most under-utilized (/game) character evah?
I knew it was you when I read "gamie" as for your question: I really see no issue with it. There is Pizza Tycoon and other burger frying games, I see no reason for this one to be harmful. Especially, in case the game has nothing to do with food maybe they could make a platformer or something.

I would like to see Ronald McDonald make a comeback.

yah i guess. it was moar junk food mixed in with (real) big business (liek i think peeps might accept one or t'other but mebbe not both? shrug shrug ascii shrug)

as said i think home for this sort o' thang is liek android shovelware nao; i doubt peeps would be willin' to buy expensive nu shillin'. then again no wai would these businesses pump out any expensive lee made product

still i think mcdonalds could make theme park-esque gamie, because "platformer" would have to be 3d an' would be crap, lets be honest. actual lee mebbe naht... android + indie successes means they coudl totes make 2d platformer again, yah. still it was tenuous at best even back in teh day, rite
No need to apologize. I get replies here all over the map in terms of timing. I appreciate the thought.

People are quick to criticize big corporate games without actually looking at the game. They could make a really good game, they seem to have the money for it but for the most part nowadays they seem to be ignoring anything to do with gaming.

It seems like the era where Disney and McDonalds releasing sweet games is over but at least their old games are still available.

I thought theme park games are 3d unless I'm mistaken. Either way, they would have to hire a developer who knows his stuff but again, they seem to have the money but I doubt they would spend it toward that. I doubt I have enough fingers to count how many big gaming companies have abandoned projects because "market forces" so I doubt McDonalds would take the gamble but it would be interesting to see it, either way.
