Theoclymenus: Just been listening to Bomber, over and over again. The best years of my life were when I was 14-17 listening to AC/DC, Motorhead and Saxon. When Lemmy died the other day it made me want to look up their old stuff on YouTube again. Such a nice guy, right to the end. Even when they (Motorhead) were intimidating they were also kind of charming. British rock just rocked more than any other kind of rock at one point.
I keep listening to
Lemmy goofing of with his bass and can't stop.
I managed to get over the sudden death of my great hero DIO some years ago and now I've been hit with this. Gotta learn how to cope and not get obsessed. :P
Edit: That smile he gives when he starts playing is something you know in your soul if you've ever gone the pop - > metal growing up along the way life. That smile is just pure joy. That's what metal I like gives me sometimes. A pure smile of pure joy. It's fucking magical in all its beauty.
