I'm a bit nervous about my purchase because the reviews are a bit mixed and it constantly gets compared with FTL, but I figured I would take a chance for $2. It's been in my wishlist so long, I forgot it was even there until I got the notification.

I figure you can't go wrong for 2 bucks. Hell, even if a game is only mediocre, I personally feel it's still worth a couple dollars.

I bought it for the same price during a sale. It's a fun little game that works both in short bursts but also holds up to longer play. I never quite put in enough time with it and look forward to going back to it at some point.

The nice part is that on all runs, even when you die, you're always accumulating XP to unlock new ships. And because each playthrough is sort of "disposable" it's easy to try new things with different ships and equipment layouts.

If this were steam, you can still go wrong with $2, or even 25 cents as there's utter total crap shovelware.

But here on gog, yeah hard to go wrong...
