>sees banner< Hmm, this might be... >sees the actual game< ... nope, nope, nope.
Oh, it's not a Shovel Knight spin-off as I first thought.
When I saw the banner, I thought it was the successor to Rogue Legacy (or related dlc). LOL! Still added it to my wish list...

I would've been simultaneously angry and amused if it was. It's also the first thing i thought, too. So many knightly pixel games, lately. It's kinda like all the minecraft clones that somehow lack the building mechanics, because everyone runs to the graphics for assumption of appeal.

On the flip side, this looks annoyingly difficult. I'm not sure how i feel about enemies being able to stealth you as much as you can stealth them. Maybe if spotted enemies don't disappear from your view just because you turned your back. It just smells like getting swarmed to death and not even knowing it is bound to happen. If this mechanic were used in a "dual" or something, would be cool, but the gif showing the guy getting swarmed looks like pure hell to me. Why make the game top down like this if you're going to make us look around like a first person shooter? At least make them occlude behind something before disappearing like nethack.
Thanks for mentioning "procedural generation" already at the beginning of the teaser text. Saved me a lot of time ;-P
