Rarity when gog gets all the extras released along side the game, usually waiting months if they ever come.
Seems to be a hard working dev.

Are you ever going to fix your forums?

Got this on itch a long time ago. Good to see it here!
So this is how Asteroids would've looked like with modern technology. Wonder if it would've been as popular and influential as the Atari classic. Probably not, since it's not exactly the kind of game you can play in the arcade.
I can't wait for the "Drill the Ring of Uranus" DLC.

Also, "develolment" is funny: we should use this word to refer to the state of progress of "Star Citizen" these last 10 years.

Me too.

Great game, great dev. Glad to see it here.
Well, I think I will try the demo to see whether I suck in this game as much as in Asteroids.
Looks cool. I may need a change of pace and get back into space.
I get a very happy I-War vibe from watching the trailer for this.
Looks interesting. Is the trailer music part of soundtrack?.
What is it with nerds and the way they name things sometimes?

What's wrong with keeping things nice and simple and compatible with all computer programs, and just naming the game what it apparently is - Delta-V: Rings Of Saturn.

But hey, thanks for the demo.

So, if Asteroids had been created today, this is what it would have looked like. I'm not sure if it would have been as well-known and impactful as the Atari classic. Probably not, because it's not the type of game you'd find at an arcade.

Dear GOG.com team!

May I ask what purpose the threefold redundant DLC installation files for the "ΔV: Rings of Saturn - Tungsten Edition" in our Library have?

I already stumbled upon a similar DLC installation file for the soundtrack of the game "There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension" and thought it would only activate or enable a player functionality for the soundtrack music from within the running game, since the corresponding file is merely 5 MB in size while the zip-archive in the "Extras" category amounts to 170 MB.

But in case of "ΔV: Rings of Saturn - Tungsten Edition" there are two additional installation files per supported operating system (Windows, Mac, and Linux)--one for the "Soundtrack" DLC, the other one for the "Tales from the Rings" E-books & Artworks DLC. And here, those files amount roughly to the accumulated size of their corresponding DLC contents!
(Those files seem to be redundant and thus a waste of storage space and bandwidth on both ends. Compare the attached examplary screenshots.)

=> What purpose do these redundant files serve, since the DLCs are now stored four times (as zip-archives, as Windows-installers, as Mac-installers, and as Linux-installers)?

I appreciate any clarification from a GOG.com representative!

Kind regards,
foxgog

This looked interesting enough to download the demo. Having tried that just now, I'm hooked and have bought the full game. Looking forward to getting good at mining! :)
Thanks for Linux support and the free goodies DLC!
