If I had a dollar for every time, during a same sex marriage argument, someone against same sex marriage brings up polygamy, incest, or pedophilia, I would be very wealthy.

(For the record, I actually do think polyamory, if done ethically (including, for instance, everyone involved consenting), should be legal.)

Also, if I had a dollar for every time somebody used "it's" when "its" was meant (or vice versa), I would also be incredibly wealthy. (In another topic, I saw two consecutive posts in which that mistake was made.)

If this thread is intended to be a fun thread, then why is my first post in this thread (which was intended to be silly) "low rated"?

Anyway, if I had a dollar for every time, in the orchestral literature, the bassoons are playing the same thing as the cellos, I would probably have enough money to buy myself a fancy professional level bassoon, and maybe even a contrabassoon. (For anyone not aware, contrabassoons cost tens of thousands of US dollars; that's comparable to the price of a new car.)

No idea on the low rating and I don't have any problems with it being derailed as long as it kept CIVIL and NO MOD is annoyed enough to close it.Those that want to post in here are welcome too,just let's keep it CIVIL and stop the down voting thankyou.

Since when is a low rated comment anything of import? I believe some 'wise' person in here once said 'instead of hiding behind clicking the low rating; put a little justification behind it and actually say what you don't like about a comment'.

What bothers me the most is when you make your own little harmless threads about stuff, such as the wrpg/jrpg one, and you endeavour to keep in on track without pulling out these kinds of discussions... moments later you jump into someone else's thread and make it all about that chip on your shoulder.
