I thought I would make a thread for those who like to discuss hardware, escecially offers during this extended weekend.

I am sure a lot of people are looking for decent prices on graphics cards and finding only suspect offers or 1% off an exorbitant asking price.

Myself I am mainly looking for a gaming monitor. Right now I am looking at one sold for as little as €99, a 1080p, 165 (OC) TN panel but just for amusement looked at what one source suggested as the very best for me, priced more than ten times higher. <gulp>

Acer 23,6" KG241QS €99
LG OLED55B1 55" 4K 120Hz OLED TV €999.

VAT included.
I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard. I got a good deal on a used Ryzen 3700X, so I can either keep my current B350 setup or get a newer board with better features. I also have a RX 6600 XT that can benefit from the higher PCIe bandwidth of B550. I see a few boards on Black Week with good discounts. Anyone have any opinions on these?

ASUS Prime B550-Plus €100
ASUS ROG Strix B550-F €140
ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Pro €125
MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk €130
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite €175

I'm also looking for a new motherboard.

Also, I need RAM, a case, and a power supply.

My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5600G, and I don't have a GPU (and am wiling to pay at most $100 for one, which is most likely not happening in the current market).

Edit: More details about the CPU. Also, I note that, with this CPU, I get integrated graphics, so getting a GPU isn't mandatory.

While I can't comment on the monitor, I will comment on the gaming TV choice.

I recently upgraded to a previous generation (They were clearing them out for a decent discount to make way for the newest model) 4K 120 Hz 65" Samsung TV which I use with my home theatre gaming PC (Non OLED, didn't want to risk burn-in issues).

It's an amazing upgrade over the 10 year old Sony 1080p TV I was using previously and I am VERY happy with that purchase.

Since I don't have a 30XX series Nvidia card, I'm limited to 2K 120Hz with my 2060 Super but that's perfectly fine until GPU prices get more reasonable, The TV is VRR enabled as well which is a great option over VSync.
