Hi,
I have made a forum search for the GOG Downloader, but once in the search results, the topics won't display, there is a problem in the system, so I'm posting here.

I have downloaded the latest GOG Downloader and I want to download the game files from a game I bought recently, because the computer I download from is not the one for which I want to install (not powerful enough).
But I see nothing in the downloader that would allow me to add files to download, I logged in, that's OK but: NOW WHAT? How do I donwload the game files?

Thanks,
XenonS

I don't think there is a way to add files directly from the GOG downloader itself, but you can get the links from each individual game. Just click on the game from your game list, then click on "MORE" and select "GOG DOWNLOADER LINKS" from the drop menu. This will bring you to a page with a list of files. Just click on the files you want the downloader to get for you.

You will need to configure your browser to open those links using the GOG downloader, but clicking on any of those links should result in the browser prompting you to choose a program. Once that's done, you should be good to go.
Yeah, thank you jadegiant, with your explanations it works perfectly now. I'm happy that I can pause the download if needed, that's the main reason I want to use the downloader.

Thank you and greetings,

You're welcome. I'm glad you got it working. Personally I've stopped using it in favor of the DownThemAll! Firefox add-on as it has better functionality and the GOG downloader is no longer being supported. But for your basic needs, it should do just fine for now. Enjoy your games!
