Im trying to preload the Witcher Wild Hunt. I installed the Galaxy client on my F: drive and that's where I want to install the game. It keeps installing the geme to my C: drive which is my windows drive. I cant find anywhere to change the install directory. Help sure would be appreciated. Thanks!

Click the Settings button, lower left side across from download cue.

The settings for download locations should be what you are looking for.

open up Galaxy and on the bottom left there is a little gear icon. it's to the right of the arrow icon which is something about downloads. click the gear and it'll bring up a settings box. near the bottom there is a line where it says "install game to". click the "..." button and choose a folder on your F: drive. see if that helps.
The instructions above don't work for me.

The folder location is supposed to be settable in GOG Galaxy Settings/Downloads/Game installation folder.

This value never changes after selecting a folder in the file location selection dialog for me using Windows 10. GOG Galaxy is version 1.2.49.26. Trying several times, the path stays the same no matter what I do.

There is also something called "Download offline backup game installers." I was able to install by downloading those files and running them. For me, GOG Galaxy didn't work because it didn't let me choose where to install.

Over 3 years later and the problem still exists. Doesn't give me much confidence in the software writers abilities if they can't make this relatively simple change. Either they are incompetent or they don't give a sh1t.....
