Trying to refund a game, Wrath of the Righteous.

I think I submitted my request within a couple of hours of play on the day of release...

However no one has responded to my ticket and it has been roughly a week. I did get the automated response asking if Wallet funds would be okay. I responded that I preferred a refund to my credit card but I would accept "Wallet Funds" if necessary.

This is all pretty normal I suppose and I would usually just continue waiting but I have requested a refund once before... For Metro 2033 (my PC at the time couldn't run it)... and I went through the exact same steps including the same wallet funds question and submitting the same reply. But, it has been more than a year and I never received a response about Metro.

I can't check that other ticket unfortunately. When I click on the "My Activities" page it just says that "This page has been disabled". Have I disabled this on my end somehow? I see no way to turn it on... thought a toggle might be in my privacy settings page but there's nothing like that there.

Is this experience normal? Can anyone give advice?
First of all, I would like to apologize for the long waiting time, our team is quite overwhelmed recently. I will address both of your tickets asap.

However, I see that your ticket about Metro has a pending status which means that we are waiting for your reply. Our automatic responses usually come with additional questions and your ticket will be visible in our inboxes after you reply :)

As for checking a status of your ticket - you can do this by clicking on the ticket's number via e-mail you receive. "My Activities" page has been disabled on our side, but I am unable to provide an ETA when it will be enabled again :(
I also requested a refund because for several reasons I had to. My experience this time was similar to yours. So far this is only the second time I had to make that request so my experience isn't representative. It was a couple of months ago and a bit complicated but with ponzco_'s help it got sorted out, the request was processed within 5 or so days and the money was refunded a couple of days after that.

My experience with this was very positive. GOG also improved the refund system which makes the whole process easy and straightforward. Now it's possible to go to order history, click a button, mark options and with a click on submit the ticket is opened and the request in their pipeline. First time around I was really confused how this works, this back and forth via Email, answering automated messages and missing ponzco_'s messages. :D

Since they are so busy now we'll just have to wait and see how long it's going to take.
I've been waiting for a reply from gog regarding my refund request for a few unplayed and not downloaded games for about 8 days now...

I remember the days when this kinda stuff took about 8 hours.
Just an update guys it seems to have gone through. I don't care about the Metro refund since my new pc can actually run it.

Happy as Larry now, Love you GOG!

Same here! It's solved, the game removed from my account and I am happy. Thank you very much ponczo_ for taking care of this issue! :-)

I always refund to my GOG wallet and all my refund requests have usually gone through within like 24 hours lately.
