LeoLR: Thanks!

Icewind Dale is a game I play from time to time.

Anyway for my turn. This is the point where I am on this game:

Our clues says that we need to find the vault. We are now at the police precinct where I need to distract the clerk so my partners can get the the lab plans.
Could be 'Payday: The Heist' or it's sequel?
Hello?

Ghorpm got it right!
It's your turn.
OK, here his mine:

What to do if our enemy is too strong and can squish us. Let's go back in time and make sure that he won't be so powerful in future! I mean in present! Obviously in present! But in our past our current present will be our future, right? Gah! Let's do it already, I have a headache!

OK, it went smoothly... wait a sec, did it? Are we in our past? Then why we are fighting the very same enemy that we were fighting in our present? I mean future... I mean... well, now I have even bigger headache. Probably because of that bullet that smashed my skull. Oh, well...
I've no idea from which game this is, but this thread is too good to be buried in the forum, so bump it goes!
Let's try something else :)

I won't be able to build houses/farms/whatever to increase "population limit". I'll have to rely on those soldiers that were sent back in time just like me. Of course I'll have to find them first. And if they die... well, they stay dead!

Red Alert 2? There was a time travel level if I recall...

Nope. I don't refer to a single level but to a whole game. It actually starts with time travelling and as I mentioned - you can't produced new soldiers, you have to use those that came back with you. Each with different statistics I might add ;)
Original War? I believe that involves a fair bit of time travel.

That's the one! Your turn!
Having previously killed all my brothers I am now hunting down someone who claims to be practically my brother, along with a few others (but only for payment in advance).

I am about to go to bed so do not expect a response from me any time soon. If you see someone has it right feel free to confirm for me.

Agent 47? Otherwise no idea, I've never played the game but this sounds similar from what I've head of the series. :)

I see.

This thread seems to be going away from the original idea, where you had to describe a specific place where you're stuck (or simply are), not give a general description of the game. But having back read it, I see lots of questions are "Guess the game from the description".

Right, my bad. Sometimes it's difficult to describe one moment/level/mission so that it can be recognized but I'll try better next time.

It's a little different but who cares? I like the original idea better, but I guess it should be up the the players.

Maybe we could try to describe a specific situation and if people can't guess it expand onto more generally describing the surrounding game.

Not at all. Like I said, lots of earlier questions were like this too. I guess it's up to the participants whether they want to enforce more strictly about it being a description of a specific place, or allow general game desciptions.
