IronArcturus: Is Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs really that bad?
avatar
RyaReisender: It's actually pretty good as long as you don't expect much gameplay. Just good story & horror.
Is it true that there's no inventory and no "sanity meter" in the game?
Is Dead State TBS or RTS?

Combat is turn-based.

Hmm there might be some limited inventory, but if there was it was only for key items (you can only pick up key items anyway). Don't think there's a sanity meter. There are hardly places you can die and those where you can it's pretty much scripted on not depending on any health or sanity.

Ever played Dear Esther? It's by the same people that made AAMFP.

The ones who made the original Amnesia made SOMA instead, which is a brilliant game. So if you are an ATDD fan, you should go for SOMA instead. Go for AAMFP only if you like story driven horror with little gameplay.

I have already bought most of my wishlist during the weekly sales, but there are still some discounted games I could go for.

Thank you elcook for clarifying that the current sales will last for the next two weeks! :)
Uh... guys?

I just bought a bunch of games, and I didn't get Rebel Galaxy. Who do I turn to in such a situation?

If you had read the official post for the sale, you would see that due to high demand it can take a while until the game appears in your library. I would wait a few hours maybe a day and then contact support.

Muchos gracias, must have missed it by accident.

gazrurka: GoG has spoilt us with free games during sales and, to be honest, I waited until the next big sale to get the most bang for buck and grab 3 freebies again. Are those great deals not coming back?
This time looks like they have something else in their mind.

Discounts used to be better
Bundles are gone
Gamification of the sale is gone
Rewards used to be better
Main page is a mess

Sheesh, I could've copied these complaints straight out of the Steam forums during the last years of Steam sales.

telemetrik: Hey,

You might experience some slight delay with getting free "Rebel Galaxy" on your first purchase, we're working on it, you'll get your game soon! Super sorry about that.
Excactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the heads up.
Could someone buy me Quake Offering from the sale? I'll buy and gift a Steam game of your choosing and similar value in return. I have no cash in GOG's wallet but I do on Steam.
