BreOl72: Same download speed as before for me.

Fonzer: Well not for me.
Might be an Eastern Europe problem?
I think I've lately seen some other users from EE that complained about slower DL speeds.
May have something to do with the war in Ukraine?
Cyber-warfare is a thing.

Though i don't know anything about cyber warfare maybe the floods damaged something as on steam i only got 10 mb per second which is still lower to what i was used to.

And a speed test said i get almost 200 mbit per second which translates to almost 25 mb per second something is off.
Is GOG dead? No, not quite.

Is GOG teetering right on the edge of financial viability? Yes, almost certainly. It almost always is.

Although sometimes GOG gets a boost at times when new CDPR games or expansion packs are released, so that might help to some degree.

But probably not enough to change things significantly over the long-term.

As for the DRM in Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3, that's a different matter than the question of "Is GOG dead?" The original post seems to be conflating those two different subjects though, as if they are the same thing, even though they are not.
