It was a really close match,the hlafkings gave me a lot of problems as expected. They can be problematic if they manage to crush your rooster leaving you only with a few players.
The only advice I can gave hawk is to foul more!! You know you want to do it too!!
Apart from that, it's obvious that he knows what he is doing with the little guys.
I must say I was surprised he didn't put the boot into your ratogre at the start of the game...

99.99% of the time, fouling doesn't even enter my thought process. Too much of a goodie two shoes I suppose.

The Armored Seagulls emerge triumphant with a gritty, hard-fought 1-0 win over Big and heavy fists.

Anton Krowe continuing to make his candidacy for captain of the team as he smashed an Ogre down today.

The big story was the medical team of the Seagulls, who after bringing on two new recruits today, were responsible for turning a Dead, -AV and -MA injury into Badly Hurts. The coach of the Big and heavy fists mentioned in a post-game conference, "That's the first time in Blood Bowl history that 3 apothecary results in a row did not result in at least one doctor-assisted homicide."

Great game from Ghiro. I was definitely worried about letting him tie this up and he kept it up all game.

Mike Valture finally got his level-up and now has +AG. Two +AG Blitzers now on the squad. Additionally, a lino got his first level and there's no decision made on what to take--the roll was double 5s. Suggestions? Leaning toward either +MA, Guard or Dodge.

To borrow a quote from Piranjade, "You can't have it all." ;)

Ended up taking Guard because +MA on a lino isn't all too useful as a first skill-up and Dodge won't do him a lick of a good against Hanno's Dwarves next week.

I was majorly nuffled again.
Almost every block he threw had a pow.
7 serious injuries including mng on my kroxy and a dead skink until my apo stepped in.
I couldn't hit for toffee.
I think I might have managed 1 badly hurt, who was saved by his apo.

Still won 2-0 though.
