Dogmaus: You waited just in time for the remaster release!
Didn't check the thread yet, but I am hoping they went the fair route(cheap game for the launch and old game as bonus extra), I'll check in a bit and keep my fingers crossed. :)

Carradice: Glad that you liked the story! It was all very thrilling. Very few living people has seen those tunnels, and we were very lucky to visit them. I understand that the powers that be decided that the tunnels were not going to be open to the public, and if so, the best was to close them and preserve them for future generations. This is what we do in my home city: whenever something appears (it is really impossible to dig without ruins appearing), the decision is taken to cover it again or to expose it if possible, or in some cases move the rests somewhere else. The tunnels are not at all in ruins, but I understand that they close them. Even if I would have preferred to keep them open to the public, and maybe nowadays cameras would check that people stay safe in them. A stroke of luck, and something to remember, to be sure.
Well maybe it's for the best in a way.....tourists(even locals) sometimes don't respect history...scratching names/etc in things, leaving trash, etc.
That said, I hope they(or someone else who was in them) took photographs and whatnot before closing it up, so they can out those on display at least.

indie_: >What is one good memory/moment you can recall involving yourself and/or family/friends over the last 1-2 years?
After so many years, finally going on a camping trip with my grandparents and brothers last summer. It only happened less than a year ago, yet the nostalgia crushes me every single time I recall it.
It's daunting how fast time flies... I hear ya on that......when we watch the clock it seems to crawl on by, and when we don't it flies past before we know it.
Anyhoo, sounds like you had some fun, so glad to hear that. :)
indie_: "And whether your relationship is awful, good, or great
We don't like endings
We don't like to lose things
And especially, we don't like to lose things that are important to us
And make no mistake
Relationships are the single most important thing to you and your life
It's the source of all of your best memories
It's the source of all of your worst memories
When you think back on your life
And you're 95, a hundred years old
And you look back over the course of your lifetime
You're not gonna think
I wish I owned a better phone
I wish I spent more time on the internet
I wish I spent more time at work or sleeping
It's not gonna be any of those kinds of things
It's gonna be I wish I spent more time with the people I love."
From a TED talk by Gary Lewandowski - "Break-Ups Don’t Have to Leave You Broken", and the song in which I discovered it - GFY by Dennis Lloyd.
Nicely put and well said.
indie_: Thank you very much for the giveaway @GamezRanker! I wish to participate in both draws, please :)
