I think I might have created a thread like this before, but I can't remember, and even if I did, it will have been locked away during the great archiving event of 2015.

When you sit yourself down for an extended gaming session, what sustenance do you like to rely on? For me it's coffee, loads of coffee, and a bag of what I can only describe as a colorful collection puffy and crunchy sugar coated lumps of air. It's like a weird crossbreed between fruitloops and Frosties, but I can't find an image of it anywhere.

Beer and... No, just beer .

I no longer play for 'extended' periods of time so I don't prepare for them either.

This is me as well. I'll settle in for an evening and have a glass or two. It's actually funny how much I enjoy this.

Certain games have actually enticed me to have a certain sort of beer as well (I'll settle in with a slow sipper for a deep RPG or strategy game - something to mull over along with stats, gear and tactics).

Problem is I don't plan for them either. They just kinda happen sometimes when I'm trying to be productive :P

Tea, though my half-litre cups are to small. They're empty too soon, and I have to go heat water for another cup.

an hour or maybe two is a lot for me these days

Otherwise I would go for the ol Doritos and Coke combo.

Hey as long as it's refreshing! Few things go down better a dry throat, on a hot summer day, than a refreshing cold one. Speaking of which, I miss summer already :P

i generally dont each chips or anything that can leave residue on my fingers

i hate to get my fingers dirty and then grab a controller or go back on the keyboard again

so if i do pull a marathon and eat something its either coated ( m&m's ) or not messy ( bread peanuts and the like )
