When do Steam sales end?

January 2 is tomorrow in Europe, and the deals just posted (Mafia II and so on) will stay for most of the day. Will they post a new set of daily deals, or do we have the last one just now?

Yeah god Forbid someone expects the DX9 version to at least look as good as the highest setting son the years older SOC Game....how dare they think it should look worse...

REgardless I've already upgraded so it's a moot point.

Realistically they can only include so many graphics settings as it all takes up space. DX9 simply can't handle the features introduced in Clear Sky and especially not those in Pripyat so no, I don't see it as surprising that a decade old OS can't cut it anymore.

There will be one more day but not with new deals probably. I guess we'll have the most popular deals back up again just as like we had the same last year.

Yeah, that's the correct email. You could always gift them to yourself and send him the code(s) at a later date.

Metro 2033 does, and I believe that CoP does as well. Other than that I'm not sure.

Civ 5 also implements DX11, but after my initial week of pleasure with the game it turns out that it is both shallow and fundamentally flawed at its core. So to clarify, this is not a recommendation.

CoP, on the other hand, is a great game and fully supports the new features of DX 11 such as tessellation, Direct Compute, and muti-core efficiency. A performance hit might be noticed though.

Sooo, any update on the end of GOG's sale? On the main page of the sales it says 2 days left, so it sounds like it won't end till the 4th, right?

is someone from UK willing to buy Steam Paradox pack for me? I finally decided to get it. There is a lot of games I would like through the sales but I can expect most of them to go on sale again (hopefully with even bigger discount), but these games are unlikely to be so cheap again.
