Foxhack: The original Serious Sam games, and their HD remakes. So you're buying two games, twice. :p

A shame I already got the HD versions a while back for like $7. I would've LOVED to have the originals on Steam too (I already have them both on CD.)

Metro09: Just a note -- unlike most titles on Steam -- the Serious Sam HD are giftable if you get extra copies. So, if you really wanted, you could pay $4 for Gold and give the two extra HD ones to a friend.
Are you sure? 'Cause the checkout doesn't say anything about that. And there's no mention of it on the store page or Steam's support.

Wow.

To be honest, I don't see the point of gifting the HD versions to someone. I mean, I don't need or want the original versions, since I already have them in CD (in fact, SS1 was included with my second video card!) I'd rather gift the Gold pack to a friend than just the HD versions. :)

Still, that's pretty awesome of Croteam!

Well I was planning on gifting it to someone but... agh. EVERYONE I KNOW ALREADY OWNS THIS PACK. >:(
O gosh I hope my paycheck goes in the back before the Serious Sam pack goes off of sale. Stupid Christmas bleed me dry.

GameRager: And I thought my spending habits this christmas were bad.....I must've bought like 5 games from GOG alone.
I think I've purchased about 30 games, even ones I owned, for certain games and DLC...

Good for you. I bought 3, but none for me.

Damn, that even rhymes.

GameRager: Yeah I bought like a bunch of Mass Effect 2 DLC....
Quick off-topic question, how do you buy it?
Do you have to use the Bioware store?
Darn I was looking for the PC DLC buying info, I pre-ordered the 360 version so I know how that works.
Baldur's Gate deals. Hey guys, I saw that email that the Baldur's Gate original saga was 6.99 and the email says it last until the 31st, but it lists as 9.99. Is it going back to 6.99? I'm wondering because now I have another email that says Atari returns.

Anyone know about this?

None of the D&D RPGs are returning to the sale only the other Atari games on GOG. It says it on the news article on the homepage 'Unfortunately that discount doesn't include the Hasbro licensed RPG titles.'
In the spirit of looking at deals, even if I can't afford them (wife says it's bad for me...lol), I figured I'd share a deal I found (haven't shared in a while.)

Amazon (Digital Download)

Mafia II - 75% Off - $12.50
Regional Restrictions may apply, see site for details.

http://www.amazon.com/Mafia-II-Pc/dp/B001O4YSTU/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1293492317&sr=1-1

The key should work in Steam as well!

GameRager: When you load up the game in PC/360 a screen comes up with available DLC and how much it'll cost in microsoft points/etc. Picking one of them opens a buying window to buy and download the DLC in either the 360's download manager using microsoft points or whatever the pc equivalent is....didn't buy PC dlc ever though so it may be different.

I would buy the new game copy though and not used as a new copy comes with a code for activating the Cerberus Network(free DLC packs and some other stuff) which alone is worth more than the 10 extra it costs for a new copy of the game vs a used copy(the code is worth maybe 20 bucks or more in DLC alone).

EDIT: Brand new 360 copy is around $40 american, a used one is $30 american.....the new one tho as I said above is the better bet if you are going to buy DLC anyways.
I bought my used copy from GS for less than $20...
