Metro09: I don't want to go off topic and start a litany of posts like this -- but do we typically use this thread to organize pack 'buy-ins?' If so (<_<) I'd be interested in Puzzle Quest 2 and possibly Just Cause 2. The bulk of those packs are pretty overwhelming but hat's off to anyone willing to organize it.
Hmm. Probably would be best to start a separate thread..that could take a lot of posts to organize, and would take longer if it was here.

How does Steam work for if you get duplicate games? I want the Indie Story Pack but I already have AYIM and Gish.

More Steam deals..Deathspank $10, Audiosurf $2, Batman $10, and some other junk..

http://store.steampowered.com/
Indie pack is by far the best deal. And that's because of Recettear. AND puzzle agent. AND other three.
Indeed, if you don't have Recettear yet, get the Indie Story Pack on Steam. It's worth it for that alone.

Unless specifically stated that you can gift the additional copies, you simply lose them.

Okay, that isn't so bad in this case. I thought it would make me have two of the same games in my library, which would annoy me.

I think only GamersGate do that by default, but then, you can gift the duplicates =) But with Steam, they only allow gifting as an exception which can be annoying and has, in the past, been the reason for my not purchasing specific packs.
Wow... no individual sale for PQ2 is lame. Guess I'll wait to see if it goes on sale for the Holiday one~
I so bought todays indie pack. Recettear alone was worth it!

Certainly hoping for this one too though :

Indie Pulse Pack: Audiosurf, Beat Hazard, Bit Trip Beat, The Polynomial, Rhythm Zone

Edit:

Actually if they're for 5~ then probably these too xD

- Indie Air Pack: Altitude, DogFighter, Flotilla, Gratuitous Space Battles, Plain Sight
- Indie Clever Pack: Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time, Eufloria, Iron Grip: Warlord, VVVVVV, World of Goo

Oh god, EVE is 5bucks/euros/whatever.

I am tempted. Does anyone play? Is it possible to work out enough ISK for that monthly pass in-game item thingie during the first 30 days? If yes, I just might venture forth...
not a great deal but:
http://www.greenmangaming.com/try-and-trade/
For this weekend only, you can try one of our selected games below and then trade it back for just 1€ less than you paid for it! No other retailer can give you this great offer.

All you need to do is buy your game from Friday 27th November, play it and then trade it back before midnight on Sunday 29th November. After this time, the generous buyback offer will be withdrawn.
can anyone tell me about gogamer.com? some of those deals look really good.

Yes I play it and I think this is the best MMORPG out there. But one month is not enough to accumulate enough money for buying the game time code with ingame money. I think you need at least 3-4 months for that.

I've seen others saying it can be done, albeit with more experience and a higher "level". I used to play years back, but got bored with it....forget why though. Maybe I can try again.

EDIT: I probably disliked the mainly bookkeeping aspect of it and all the economics stuff....lucky for me next year is bringing an alien invasion thing into the mix.

Yeah, the Indie Story Pack is an incredible deal. I would've gladly paid $5 for Recettear alone, and $2.50 each for the rest (except for Gish which I already own twice over.)
