So what's the deal with GMG? Will I get a Steam code, or would I need to run it from something else? And how about all the DLC, will I be able to get that from GG or Steam, or will I have to get it from GMG too?

You do get a Steam Key, just activate it and the game is in your library. After that you can buy the DLC from whereever you like (for this game, as it is Steamworks)

Ubivis: You do get a Steam Key, just activate it and the game is in your library. After that you can buy the DLC from whereever you like (for this game, as it is Steamworks)
This, I had almost 9£ credit and it was sub 8£ soo free game :-P

now to leave it till i get round to downloading it....

But there is a main download button on GMG. I guess I use that then use the Steam code to activate it when it's done?

Edit: Sorry, ignore all of that. My confirmation email from GMG was very clear, and it says I can download straight from Steam now,,, :)
activate that key on steam, and you are done... that page is only a common game page, that comes up for every game.They have no different page for Steam Titles

Well, I tried all of that. It said the activation was successful, but the game still isn't in my library. I tried restarting the client but it's still not there :/

I also tried reactivating it, but of course it says it's already been activated (as I just activated it).

Any ideas? It asked me if i wanted to "print receipt" when it said I'd activated it. Guess I should have :/

Have you checked your whole library?
Should be called something like: Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine

Odd. I checked by logging into the browser instead of the client and it was there. Logged back out of the client and back in again, and it's there now too....

No need to print receipt.
Steam is uundergoing some maintanance it seems but at the same time you can try a few things.
First make sure you set your library to show all games, not only installed or recently played.
Second go to game page on Steam, does it say you already own this?
Third exit steam client and delete ClientRegistry.blob from steam folder.

Thanks. It now says I have it and can download it, but when I try it says the servers are too busy. I'll try again in 10 mins :)
